Environmental Care

Class Cabinets & Maintenance Pty Ltd is concerned about the impact we make on God's creation - our earth. Whilst it is not possible to leave no mark behind, Class Cabinets takes care to ensure all materials used and the manufacture process cares for our environment as best possible, and Trevor continues to improve methods whenever a way becomes available.

Class Cabinets has invested in solar panels which generate all the electricity used during the manufacture of your furniture. When I am at your house or office installing your furniture (when I am not in the workshop), any electricity generated is put back into the grid and will cover (in effect) my electricity used while I am there. So, your timber furniture was not only grown by, but is also powered from the sun!

All timber used is grown especially for the building industry in forests planted for this purpose. These plantations are planted, felled and then regrown and are sustainable and give assistance (although limited) to the earth when they are alive.

I encourage all customers to select their solid timber for cabinet doors and benchtops from the timber that is grown by this method. I do not support the felling of timbers from natural old forests.

Again, it is not possible to be totally "green" in this industry, but I do endeavour to be as green as possible.
